Student Scholarship Program 2009
The annual WUSS conference is conducted for the educational growth, training, and networking of the conference attendees. In order to further these goals, the WUSS Executive Committee is providing up to twenty scholarships to full-time university undergraduate or graduate students to attend the 2009 conference with complementary conference registration, discounted hotel room rates and up to two ½ day classes (Tues AM and/or Thurs PM) for accepted applications.
In addition, a limited number of students who submit an abstract for a presentation or poster are eligible to receive the full hotel room rate and travel money up to $350 to cover approved transportation expenses.
Eligibility: Any student who meets the outlined eligibility requirements is
encouraged to apply. All applicants must submit a compete application packet.
INCOMPLETE APPLICATION PACKETS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
APPLICANT MUST:
1. Be a full-time university undergraduate or graduate
student.
2. Provide proof of student enrollment including copies of current classes, enrollment confirmation, and current student identification card.
3. Complete application form and submit accompanying documents by August 3, 2009.
Students wishing
to be considered for travel money MUST ALSO:
1. Submit an abstract or poster for consideration for WUSS
2009.
